This year’s Bristol Food Connections festival is already in full swing. The last day of the festival is Sunday 11 May 2014.
The aim if the festival is to highlight the diverse communities and food cultures in Bristol, food that is good for you, good for the environment and good for the local economy. As well events hosted by the BBC at the harbour-side, there is ‘Eat, Drink, Bristol Fashion’ in Queen Square, various markets, a food trail, talks and cookery classes all over the city of Bristol. There is also live music and entertainment for all ages.
Many people from Bristol are taking part alongside farmers’, local shops, restaurants, growers, bakeries, butchers and food writers. Support for the festival comes from the BBC, Bristol City Council, UWE, BristolUniversity and other local organisations.
Please remember; before you go along it’s definitely worth double-checking that venues and events are fully accessible.
