Disabled Access Day: Would you like to help us improve access in Bristol?

Friday 10 March is Disabled Access Day!

Would you like to help us improve access in Bristol?

Then why not take your camera out with you – tomorrow if you can, but over the weekend if not – and snap the best and the most frustrating examples of access you come across??
It might be the notice on the door or window of a small shop, providing a bell of some kind for people to ring if they need assistance of any kind to get in, or it might be that bit of dropped kerb that is constantly parked on.

Whatever it is that makes you feel your needs have been considered, or completely ignored, take a photo and email it to us with:

  • info on where it was taken,
  • why you think it’s brilliant or appalling
  • your name and address.

We will keep your address confidential – and if you’d rather we didn’t credit you as the photographer, just give us ‘code name’ you’d like us to use instead.
But we need this info to make sure the photos we get are genuinely from individuals and to help us identify any businesses who send us photos they’ve taken to make them look good as a bit of PR.

Send your photos and details to:
