Dear members, supporters and friends,
The General Election is on Thursday 8 June 2017. With over 13 million Disabled people in the UK, we need to make sure our voices, and our votes, count. So, if you are not registered to vote in the do it now!

There are different ways you can do this:

  • If you want to vote in person at polling station, you will need to register by midnight on Monday 22 April 2017.  You can do this at: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
  • If you want someone to vote on your behalf (a proxy vote) you have to fill in a registration form, and make sure it arrives at Bristol’s Electoral Services by Wednesday 31 May.
You can find more information, and the form at:https://www.bristol.gov.uk/voting-elections/proxy-voting
  • If you have no fixed address, or are homeless, in a hospital, or under section, you can register to vote in any of the above ways.

If you live in Bristol, you can also get copies of the forms at your local library, or by calling Bristol Electoral Services on 0117 922 3400
